The company “Friedrich Richter Messwerkzeuge” is worldwide known for quality measuring products in the field of measuring technology. The enterprise was founded in the year 1920 in Eger and can now look back on more than100 years of experience in the measuring industry. The current owners of the company, Friedrich and Erik Richter (third and fourth generation) also value on high quality and continuous improvement of the pro-ducts and production processes. This ambition was always important for the company and over the years it became one of the factors of success. The political new beginning after the Second World War also meant a restart for Richter Measuring Tools. Between 1949 and 1953 the current head office was built in the center of Speichersdorf. The business developed with renewed strength. Sales successes were quickly recorded and already at the beginning of the 1950s, the company exported again in different countries .Up to this day, the Richter company has remained faithful to this location and the production is done on site. At the same time, the products are real globe-trotter: 40 countries of the world are working with Richter measuring tools –rising tendency.
